Course details: Experience 6 days of hands-on learning through building an earth dome to prepare you to build your own studio, home, eco-village, or school. The focus of this workshop is to build in a way that connects the structure and the participants to the energy flows of the planet. This workshop covers testing your soil, the earth-bag technique, natural render, options for adapting domes to dry or wet climates, design lectures, evening movies/slide shows, and more.

Date: Jan. 7 (Free informational evening and registration at 7pm) Jan. 8-9, Jan. 15-16, and Jan. 22-23, 2011 (three weekend workshop)

1 of 3 Michael Reynolds (The Garbage Warrior) gave a talk at the Little Yarra Steiner School in Victoria Australia on July 24th 2009 . The school is now planning to build an earthship on school grounds with the help of Michael’s company, Earthship Biotecture.

Our apologies for the poor sound quality at times due to technical issues during recording.

The Garbage Warrior and Earthships received a plug in our documentary Tunkashila; 2 sequels to Tunkashila are now underway, one of which will feature Michael Reynolds, Earthships, Permaculture and Free Energy Economics.
